The Regular Meeting of the Town of Hillrose Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Riedl at 7:02 p.m.  Trustees answering roll call were Colerick, Kramer, Smith and Wahlert.  Staff members present were Golemboski and Nichols.  No visitors were present.  The Mayor led the pledge of allegiance.

Public Comments:  Golemboski read thank you notes from Brianna Danielsen, Prairie Biker Rally and Brush Grocery Kart for the use of dog cage, generator and dunk tank at their recent events.  Nichols thanked the Board for their understanding of her recent leave to be with her mother.

The minutes from the September 6, 2010 meeting were presented and Kramer moved with Colerick seconding to approve the minutes as printed.  Approved by voice vote 4-0 with Riedl abstaining.

The following reports were submitted to the Board:
Certified Operator, Dale Colerick:  as printed
Financials, Lynn Golemboski:  as printed
Code Enforcement, Jon Riedl:  as printed
Maintenance, Ed Wahlert and Don Smith:  Potable water maintenance as detailed in Colerick’s report; Sprinkler valves leaking in the park – might need to order parts; Mowed park; cleaned up stickers in playground and ball field; Shelves are built in storage trailer and a step into the trailer.  Electric lights and outlets for storage trailer will be installed later in the month.

Old Business:
Colerick has the Website, hillrosecolorado.org, almost ready and scheduled a meeting with Golemboski to review at 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 22nd.

Golemboski reminded the Board of the Fall Bon Fire set for October 23 at 6:00 pm at the ball field at the Hillrose Estates Petteys Memorial park.

Golemboski and Smith reported on what’s happening at the other municipalities in CML District 1 as reported at the recent meeting.

New Business:
The list of bills for September 20, 2010 was presented. Wahlert moved with Colerick seconding to pay the bills in the usual manner.  Roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 5-0.

Golemboski reported that Kelly Henderson has completed the painting on the Welcome to Hillrose Signs and the Board reviewed the signs in the back room.  Henderson just needs to finish the sugarbeets and corn on the mural and put up the letters for Town of Hillrose on the wall next to the mural and mosaic.  Henderson suggested that we have the dedication on the 23rd along with the installation of the roadside park signs prior to the Bon Fire.

Golemboski reported that the Itron bill, for meter reading software and equipment, will have to be paid for this year because the contract signed over a year ago is binding.  It will be on the next list of bills for approval.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:34 p.m.
